Payment and point-of-sale handheld terminals

Handheld payment terminals with terminal management, keys, and support scoped as one system.

At a counter, in a queue, or at a delivery handoff, a terminal that cannot take a payment stops the transaction in front of the buyer. Very little else in the operation fails that publicly. We specify handheld payment terminals and mobile point-of-sale (POS) devices for retail, delivery, field collection, and counter overflow.

The hardware is half the system. The other half is the terminal management system (TMS), keys, apps, and who handles the return merchandise authorization (RMA) when a unit dies on a Saturday.

What we specify

We start with where the payment is taken—counter, queue-busting, delivery, or field collection—because that decides form factor, battery expectation, and the spare rule. Payment methods follow: card, near-field communication (NFC), or a quick response (QR) code, checked against your acquirer and your market rather than a generic feature list. Connectivity is Wi-Fi, wireless wide area networking (WWAN), or both, depending on whether the terminal ever leaves the building.

Around the device sit the control planes and the physical kit. TMS handles remote app, parameter, and key management. Fleet insights report device health and exceptions. Mobile device management (MDM) applies where the operating system and kiosk policy must be locked. Accessories—charge base, holster, and a printer if the flow prints—are quoted with the terminal, because a payment device without a charge base is a queue waiting to happen.

We supply and manage terminals. Acquiring, scheme, and payment service provider contracts stay with you.

FAQ

Do you process payments?

No. We specify, supply, and manage the terminal fleet and its control planes; acquiring, scheme, and payment service provider contracts stay with you.

Can you work with our acquirer?

Yes, that is the usual path. We fix the certification and payment-application constraints your acquirer sets before we recommend a device class.
