The job happens beyond the warehouse Wi-Fi: inspections, service, utilities, and delivery. A field device still has to capture the work when the wide-area connection drops, hold it until sync, and come back with enough power to finish the shift. A van is a long way from the spare drawer.
We scope the device, connectivity, offline behavior, fleet control, and portable power as one operating kit, so the boundaries are visible before the first crew leaves: what works offline, what synchronizes later, which team manages the device, and whether payments or site power add another control plane.
